SAIP signing PPH agreement with IPOS

In an effort to further demonstrate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and streamlining intellectual property procedures, SAIP has recently signed a patent prosecution highway (PPH) agreement with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).

This significant step allows the Singapore Patent Office to join an expanding list of patent offices that have signed similar agreements with Saudi Arabia. This list includes notable offices such as the US Patent Office, the European Patent Office (EPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Japanese Patent Office (JPO). Furthermore, the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) are also part of this agreement.

These developments underscore Saudi Arabia’s dedication to fostering international cooperation and facilitating the process of intellectual property procedures. We are confident that this collaboration will yield positive results for all parties involved.
